About this listen

Aisha made this book to educate single women of the trials faced on the other side of motherhood. She wants single women to understand why it's important to take care of yourself, guard your sanity, and enjoy your life...while yours is the only one you're responsible for.

This book is her compilation of stories told from various viewpoints, with the intention of painting a picture for listeners of what some mothers go through. Don't treat children and family like a to-do list, especially when you don't have the resources to support those items being checked off.

Just what I needed to hear!

Much gratitude for the author sharing these stories (including her own) to guide women into a journey of self discovery. Thank you for the skills and tools provided in chapter 13! Many women (including me) need to be reminded of who we are, as we get into relationships, friendships, and parenthood which may cause us to lose self identity while being preoccupied by what we’re “supposed” to look like.
