Förortslivet på Förvaltarvägen i Solna är inte alltid helt enkelt för tolvåriga Dogge. På dagarna röjer han runt med polarna Larsa och Ola och på kvällarna sitter han i fönstret och pratar om livets stora frågor med sin bortgångna mamma. Men situationen blir riktigt tuff när han korsar den två år äldre Perras väg. Perra är kungen i fotbollslaget som härjar på Tottvägen och alla vet att man ska låta honom vinna. Men Dogges vinnarlust övermannar honom och gör att han skjuter bollen i mål trots att han inte borde. Målet får dessutom Perra att slänga sig in i stolpen med näsan först, så nu är det fullskaligt krig.
Inte nog med det, polisen söker också efter Dogge och hans vänner efter att de har rånat en porrtidningsautomat. För att undkomma det hektiska livet på flykt hittar de tre vännerna en säker plats, Solna Skrotupplag. Med en plats där de kan smida planer ifred och med en trebent hund vid deras sida kanske de äntligen kan stå upp mot Perra och en gång för alla visa honom var skåpet ska stå.
Mikael Engström (1961–) är en svensk barnboksförfattare. Mellan 2008–2012 satt han som ledamot i Svenska barnboksakademin, och hans bok Kaspar i Nudådalen ligger till grund för SVT:s julkalender Kaspar i Nudådalen.
