Victor Maskell has been betrayed. After the announcement in the Commons, the hasty revelation of his double life of wartime espionage, his photograph is all over the papers. Narrator is over the top
I've enjoyed many of John Lee's performances. But I found his style distracting for this text.
I especially enjoyed John Lee's narration of China Mieville's 'Perdido Street Station'. I will put off listening to 'Kepler', the next book in this series, but also narrated by John Lee. I'll try one of John Banville's other titles, one that uses a different narrator.
