I can make it!

Tasha writes a compelling story of her life and she is transparent in showing us being a Christian is not a bed of roses. While I know her personally because she was a member of my church for a while you can never really know all the inner workings of a persons life behind closed doors. I’m so very proud that she was brave enough to open this doors and share her weak times so others can see we have them but GOD is more than able to help us with the side of community of faith to bring us through. I believe her book will free so many Christian’s to seek the help they need in grief and In their mental health so we can truly become a glorious church as JESUS intended us to be. Thank you Tasha. This book blessed me in so many ways. I cried through some of it. Thank you so much for the encouragement. Hearing your story helps me to understand why you wrote certain songs and it’s refreshing to know that you are a true worshipper and not just an entertainer.

I know you don’t want to take the spotlight from God and Jesus, and may not prefer being the center of attention - but, when I meet you, I’ll hug you because your revelation for your life spoken out loud made me ok. It made me realize that my always doing a lot is ok. My not being what others are is ok. My journey to figure it out is ok.
At 42yo, God is revealing what this journey has all been for. He brought me to the floor in tears when you read the part of your book that said (paraphrased) ‘Some of us are most comfortable doing a lot. Through all of the changes and decision making, it-is-ok.’

I now know Heavenly Father that I no longer need to feel shame because I didn’t meet some human’s standard. Position my parents to be ok with the journey I’ve been on and the blossoming that is forthcoming.
