Great romance and lots of laughs

This book is a great listen/read! It's got lots going on without being overwhelming and loads of character. The main character is very funny and witty. The love stories are great and this truly is a happily ever after book. The narrator is very good as well!

Sweet, Cute and Fun

Claudy Conn has done it again!
Stevie Zimmerman did a good job. Not so much whiny this time.

Really like this one it is in my re-readable list.
Love Bella, love how she's independent and caring for all her friends and family.
Love how she plays the Earl. How she drags poor Rose in her schemes.
And she "saves" her friend James from an unwanted marriage.
Really like all the characters, the secondary characters are fun as well. They're believable even Miss stuffy Yardley.

History in making

Would you consider the audio edition of Disorderly Lady to be better than the print version?

Yes, for some reason having someone reading you a story is so much better then reading the story by yourself. It gave it more life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Bella, she's so strong and I just wanna be her.

Which scene was your favorite?

Can I say all?

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

History romance

I enjoyed it!

I enjoyed the multiple love stories. I'm not sure about her not clearing up misconceptions immediately. I think most young, innocent women would not be so forgiving about confused with being a light skirt.

The narrator did a great job. She does excellent character voices.

A Great Regency by Claudy Conn - I Loved It!!

Title: Disorderly Lady
Written by: Claudy Conn
Narrated by Stevie Zimmerman

Rating:
5 out of 5 Hearts

OMGoodness! The comination of Claudy Conn's writing and Stevie Zimmerman's narration is Amazeballs! I Love this Book! Claudy Conn is one of my favorite authors... this is such a wonderful, racy regency.

Arabella (Bella) and Brently (Brent) Cullingham are siblings who lost their parents at sea in their youth. Quite an amazing read. I could listen to it over and over again.

Full of playful twists and unforseen turns, this multi-layered, coming of age, and steamy read has it all.... romance, humor, lust, betrayal, and steam and then some!!

I don't use spoilers in my reviews as they spoil it for others.

Listened to the Audible Edition.

Romantic and Funny Regency!!

If you could sum up Disorderly Lady in three words, what would they be?

Romantic, Comical, Descriptive

Who was your favorite character and why?

I enjoyed Bella. She was a strong character.

What about Stevie Zimmerman’s performance did you like?

Yes, very much. I loved her accent. It fit the time period perfectly.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I read all Claudy Conn's books in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

Lady Bella is a young woman who lives on the countryside with her brother Sir Brentley. When Bella's heart is broken, her brother sends her to London to visit her aunt for a season. While in route to her aunt's home she decides to take a walk to relax and runs into the Earl of Magdalen, Shaun Standon. Shaun thinks she is a mistress for other men. They encounter several romantic moments and Bella never tells Shaun of the kind of Lady she really is.
This was another great book by Claudy Conn. It was even better that I got to listen to it on audio. It was comical, romantic, and well written. I enjoy all Claudy Conn's regencies and can never get enough of her books.

Unexpected love story

What made the experience of listening to Disorderly Lady the most enjoyable?

The narrator really brought the characters to life. You could really hear the saltiness of Arabella.

What other book might you compare Disorderly Lady to and why?

Any of Claudy Conn's other books because they're all always so great.

Which scene was your favorite?

I love how she surprises him and he just up and kisses her. I laughed at her reaction.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed and my eyes watered at some parts. Other times I was yelling at the characters. You know, they're going to do something but they're taking the long way to it and you just wanna scream "get to it already!"

Any additional comments?

If you haven't read any of claudy's books.. or listened to them, do it. You're missing out on awesomeness.
