So encouraging!
I am a plant based gran of 7, and wish I read this book many years earlier. So much to learn how to introduce good eating habits to the whole family and into your home.
I have forwarded this book to both my children and hope they can work together to teach their children and my grandkids about cell building food that would fight against all the diseases out there and have fun at it.

A Real Eye Opener!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes! This book changed the way I looked at how I planned and made an effort to feed my kids. Processed is not always easier and just because they are kids they do not need to eat Junk.
What other book might you compare Disease-Proof Your Child to and why?
Eat to Live. Same concept and Author. Another great read!

I wanted to once I started, but I mostly listen to audio in the car so I broke it up in a few days.
Any additional comments?
Once you read (listen) to this, it will change the way you think about nutrition. It is amazing to me that some of the issues children have (even ear infections) can be caused by poor nutrition. I really like how the author states that we are designed to be healthy.
If you are at all concerned about the amount of disease that is around us and want to give your family the best chance of not having to deal with that, I highly recommend this book.
There of course may be some things you do not agree with or fully get on board with but the general message is one that I think everyone can get something out of!

I loved loved loved this book. I bought it on Amazon and then downloaded the audible. Dr Fuhrman is very convincing, educating, and encouraging. I loved his straight foward easy to understand presentation. He tends to be quite redundant but that is okay with me because it helped me to retain the information much much better. I also loved the narrators voice and especially the way she says "beans" and "cheese". But I digress. Very easy to listen to. I am putting this book to work for my family immediately.

Easy listen and applicable to life.
The content in this book was simplified in comparison to the "parent" version. I would say that even if you don't have kids, I'd still recommend reading it. It was easy to understand and apply to real life, and it made sense as to why you would apply the concepts.

Much of this information is outdated
A lot of good information overall but I wish I would have looked at the date first before buying as I know better than a lot of the information that was provided. It is a good book for new families. I feel like the narrator was asked to be super perky in her delivery. That was not necessary.
