Must read!
The authors, Both contributors and editor, wrote beautiful, transportive, transformative stories. The narrator has a shining voice. I feel represented. May as many people as possible read this book. May disabled readers feel seen and empowered, and may non-disabled readers, whether allied yet or not, step into and appreciate our world. May all readers find something to learn along the way. This should be required reading for every high schooler student
These stories gave me insights into the lives of many people. We all know how hard it must be to live with a disability, but I didn’t realize all the ways I make it more difficult, mainly because of my indifference:( There is so much that can be done to make their lives a bit easier! I think if every teenager read this, they would contribute in making our world better for disabled people and all of us!
