Great Story

This story is really enjoyable. It flows along nicely and has a nice focus on the couple with a cool side of the MC thrown in.

A VERY ENTERTAINING LISTEN

An addictive story as the heroine suddenly gets thrust into a nightmare when she’s in the wrong place at the wrong time and witnesses something she shouldn’t of seen. So, with Mafia men hot on her trail, Ashlynn is forced to run. And, when her flash ride eventually gets a flat, she’ll end up getting more than ‘curb assistance’ from the handsome sexy biker the second time they meet. Because this sex-on-a-stick leather clad sinner will become her lifeline.. her lover.. her savior. Rusty is the President of the Devil Kings MC and, when he bumps into the beauty with the flat tire again.. and now she’s buying a gun, he is going to do all he can to get his body closer to hers. There’s delicious sizzles and passion between them.. however, Ashlynn has secrets.. and those secrets will bring chaos to his, and the Club’s, doors. But what’s a possessive alpha biker going to do when someone dares to threaten his woman? This was a sexy ride as feisty Ashlynn tries to keep Rusty from getting involved.. and it leads to a very enjoyable story with tingles, tension, danger and great characters. The dual POV storyline was wonderfully brought to life by Ryan and Virginia and the duet-style narration made the plot flow smoothly with friction, fireworks and feels. WORTH A CREDIT? Yes, it ticked my boxes.. and now I’m looking forward to Gypsy’s story next.

Good so far

Good narration, pretty good story. These are lightweight compared to a lot of others out there but damn, with a cover like this and good narration, I had to keep going. I hope the rest keep getting better!

Rusty & Ashlynn

What a great book. I liked the first book but this one had more excitement especially since it involved the mob. You also get to enjoy Reno and Kara again. I loved the duet narration style. Both narrators did a wonderful job and made those sexy times hot. Rusty is the president of the mc who felt a connection with Ashlynn from the beginning. He is so intrigued with her and wants to protect her but she doesn't tell him the full truth of what she's running from for a while into the book. Ashlynn witnesses a murder of two people while working in Vegas. She runs until she has car trouble just outside of Atlanta. This is were she meets Rusty and things go from there. I recommend listening to this story and hopefully Gypsy's book will be on audible quickly.

These Devil Kings MC men are delicious! After book one, I was intrigued and couldn't wait to hear Rusty's story. Taking over the club as president has been a smooth transition. Little distraction has made Rusty a good leader. Passing a woman in distress is not something he will do, so when he sees Ashylynn on the side of the road with a flat tire, he stops to help. What better distraction than a woman that is hiding after witnessing a double murder? These two are destined for each other. Ashlynn is quite a woman. Smart, beautiful and what a car! She keeps Rusty on his toes. Rusty, the alpha protector is the kind of man we all love. He won't let any harm come to his woman. But when trouble hits, will he be able to keep her and the club safe? This is a suspenseful, exciting listen with wonderful characters. I really enjoyed this, not knowing who to trust, who to call, when things would come to a head, thrilling excitement, Add that to the combustible chemistry and hot passion between Rusty and Ash and the story is exactly what I love.

Ryan West and Virginia Rose narrate this gem with finesse. West is perfect as the alpha, Rusty. He has a raspy tone that both heats my ears and commands respect. Rose comes in as the feisty Ashlynn, giving her attitude and vulnerability. Together they are fantastic and made for a wonderful listen!

I enjoyed the first book and figured I'd get around to reading this book eventually. So when Kim asked me if I'd be interested in reading it for audio review, I thought "sure, why not?" Now I find myself thrilled that I agreed, because Dirty Deals was significantly better than Dirty Deeds (which I liked!).

I think I liked the scenario a lot better. Ashlynn is running from a double murder she witnessed - talk about wrong place, wrong time. Her luck seems out when she gets a flat tire - but turns out it was actually very lucky because that flat leads her to Rusty, president of the Devil Kings MC. I already knew and liked Rusty from Dirty Deals, but I really enjoyed getting to know him better. Even though the story is, once again not exactly believable, it was far more so. I was able to get lost in the tension and worry for Ashlynn - along with the incredible heat between her and Rusty - without skepticism.

It was also fun to see where the MC has gone since Rusty became Prez. And I especially enjoyed seeing more of Reno and Butterfly from book 1. Unlike with the end of book 1, where I figured I'd read on eventually, I'm eager to read the next book. This ended on a slight cliff. Not a bad one, but enough that I am READY to read the next one. I don't think it's on audio yet, though, so I will have to wait.

Because, the narration of this series is Fantastic. It has two narrators - Ryan West and Virginia Rose - and they complement each other so well. And it's my favorite kind of dual narration, where Virginia does all the female voices and Ryan does all the male voices. It makes it really easy to get lost in.

WOW!!!

WOW! I'm not sure how every one of Nicole James books can keep getting better and hotter, but they sure seem to! Love a story where a girl in trouble is saved by a knight in somewhat dirty armor?? If so, these are the books for you! I love them and this series of the Devil Kings MC just gets better and better!! Ryan West and Virginia Rose did such a great job narrating!!!! Can't wait to read the next one!!!❤❤
