About this listen

Yeah, she's my buddy's little sister and every kind of off limits. She's frustrating, infuriating, chaos in motion. And she's my new roommate. There's no defense against this girl.

Cute

This was the most predictable story yet. I feel like the story was rushed because we needed a story for Grant. Least enjoyable story of the series so far. Also, did not like either narrator which also could be the problem why the story didn’t grab my attention. I felt like I had to listen because it is part of a series.

Did not compare to the rest of the series

Idk what it was about this book vs the others in the series, but it wasn’t it… male narrator was not good.

BOWIE

The guy narratoring Bowie sounds sexy as sin. His speech is clear. But he doesn't sound believable. Doable, but not believable.

You Had One Job D-Man!

My Review:
4 ⭐️ 3 🌶️

Bowie, our grumpy D-man, has one job: block feelings for his best friend’s little sister, Piper. But when she moves in, his defensive game crumbles faster than an amateur slapshot. Piper, aka chaos in motion, is determined to prove she’s not the flakey family screwup, and Bowie’s belief in her is more heart-melting than a buzzer-beater goal.

Their snarky enemies-to-lovers vibes turn into a steamy power play, with plenty of witty chirps and emotional assists along the way. Bowie’s the perfect mix of alpha protector and tender teammate, choosing Piper every time, even if it means risking a penalty with her overprotective brother.

The Slayers team brings the laughs, Piper and Bowie bring the heat, and their love story is the ultimate hat trick of heart, humor, and steamy romance. Forget staying in the defensive zone—this book takes love straight to the net!

Not as good as the rest of the series

Disappointing. Did not enjoy the narration or the story. Really liked the other slayers stories. This one seemed like an afterthought or a filler.
