Incredible

Dirty Boss, book 2 in the Dirty Rich Series, is passionate, captivating, chock full of sass, sexy, with humor and some of the best sex scenes I've listened to in a long time. Crystal Kaswell knows how to capture the readers attention and keep it there to the very end. I loved the character development and the chemistry between Lizzy and Nick is HOT personified!! Narrator Virginia Rose put a lot of heart and steamy sexiness into her performance. CK, again, your "energy" was spot on!! Bravo.

AN ADDICTIVE, HOT & HIGHLY-CHARGED LISTEN

Nick and Lizzy meet in San Francisco, it was instant attraction which leads to a memorable one night stand. Three months later Lizzy is shocked to see the sexy man again.. the man that’s been haunting her thoughts with the memory of their steamy night together.. the Billionaire CEO of the Tech firm she’s just been recruited to Intern with. But at first Nick is all business focussed solely with the success of his latest AI program.. but the chemistry and memories linger in both their minds and it doesn’t take long for Nick to crack under Lizzy’s baited advances. Neither of them want commitment, both have been emotionally damaged by tragic traumas in their pasts.. yet neither one wants to walk away. And alpha Nick has to be in control the whole time - orchestrating everything during their scorching sexcapades which includes light bdsm scenes.. and Lizzy is a very willing, eager.. (and very satisfied) partner. And slowly the hot ‘n hungry trysts lead to more and these two damaged people eventually learn to trust, learn to lean on one another, learn what’s most important in life, learn to move on from their terrible pasts.. and open themselves up to love. However just before the chance of a happy ending, Nick’s angry brother wants his revenge.

A very entertaining listen as the feisty fireworks between Nick and Lizzy spark, burn bright, shock and awe the unsuspecting listener. Lizzy’s sassy, flirty and fun and the sexual tensions between her and Nick was intense. I thought there were perhaps a little too many risqué implausible office sex scenes as Lizzy becomes a wee bit obsessed by naughty Nick‘s moods and offers up her body ‘to be used’ as a way of expelling his demons. This book includes preloved characters from Dirty Deal too. Told entirely from Lizzy’s POV by Virginia Rose and her fantastic five star narration made this a very enjoyable audiobook .

Worth a credit? Yes.. and I’m going back to see which ones I’ve missed.

A steamy listen with heart

Dirty Boss is a great steamy listen. Nick and Lizzy had a chance encounter months ago that was fully of passion, but little did they know that their paths would cross again when Lizzy applies for a job and winds up working for Nick. Nick is determined to keep it professional, but quickly gives in because Lizzy is magnetic, and their connection is just too strong. And for Nick, Lizzy is the balm that he needs.

Nick and Lizzy have both had past traumas in their lives, and opening up and getting past them is difficult. But in each other they find the bravery and openness that they need to heal. I like that they connect on an emotional level as well as the physical level. Virginia Rose does a great job narrating, and voicing their vulnerability and hurt along the way.

a favorite series

Virginia Rose is a fantastic narrator in this book. she captures Lizzie so well. The narrationnis a great compliment to the well written book! I enjoy the creativity of Crystal Kaswell's unique characters. I really enjoyed this audiobook

Wonderful Office Romance with Excellent Narration!

4.5 stars! I thoroughly enjoyed this steamy, emotional take on the office/boss romance trope! Lizzy, a college student, and Nick, a rich CEO, have a memorable night together in San Francisco. They don’t exchange real names or talk about their work, but they have an instant connection and share some of their past tragedies with each other. Three months later, Lizzy shows up to interview for an internship in New York City that will bring her back near her older sister and discovers that Nick is the CEO and would be her boss. Of course, Lizzy ends up being offered the internship and takes it, although both Lizzy and Nick agree it will be all business. From there, sparks fly! Lizzy and Nick have insane chemistry together and the steamy scenes were hot! Lizzy and Nick also share a deeper emotional connection as they learn to trust each other and open themselves up to love. There is some drama/conflict near the end as Nick’s brother interferes and attempts to sell the company and issues Lizzy an ultimatum, but I liked how that conflict served as a catalyst for Lizzy and Nick to acknowledge their feelings to themselves and each other. It was so easy to root for Lizzy and Nick to get their happily ever after! I also loved the glimpse into the future in the epilogue!

The book is told entirely from Lizzy’s point of view and Virginia Rose absolutely nailed the narration! Virginia perfectly captures Lizzy in all her sassy, flirty glory and Nick with his brooding, intense personality. This was my first listen by Crystal Kaswell, but it will definitely not be my last!

No Dual Narration

It's a good story but would have been so much better if it were in dual narration.

I was pulled into this tale

I was pulled into the story of these two. The past has not been good to these two they each have issues they are trying to overcome. I liked the idea of the story. It’s very with the times and It flowed nicely. I love office romances and this one is no different. The characters are each strong despite their pasts. They each deal with the present differently. Lizzie is fun loving and outgoing. She sees what she wants and goes after it. I just want to say her speech for her sister is lovely. As is their relationship. Nick is a complex guy. While he has control in every aspect of his life..he can not keep control of his thoughts for Lizzie. At first i didn’t care much for Nick but as the story moves along and some things were explained he grew on me. I loved seeing his lightbulb come on in respect to his feelings.

This is a first time author for me. I actually loved the story. Even the characters were wonderful. Although Kat and Lizzie are my two fav. We wouldn’t have the story without Nick. I did listen to this on audio. Virginia Rose did a wonderful job with the narration.

Loved this book on Audible!!

After reading all the books in the Dirty series and listening to the first two books on Audible, I have to say that is book is one of my favorites. As you have probably read in the blurb for this book, Lizzy is a college student interviewing for an internship at Nick's company and they both were in for a surprise when they saw each other in the room. Nick is 8 years old her senior, but as we all know age doesn't matter in name of love and its just a number. I love Lizzy and Nick's relationship with their flirty banter, nerdy talk, their naughtiness, and how incredible real they are as a couple. In some books, the couple as individuals and together live such fantasy lives where they have the perfect lives and I love how Lizzy and Nick experienced real and/or heartbreaking situations. Connecting with the characters is one of the things I love about Crystal's books. She does an amazing job at writing the best hot and spicy scenes between her characters. Having Virginia Rose narrate them brought them and this book to life so you might want to turn down the air and listen to this book with headphones. This book is a fun, entertaining read for someone who needs a little heat to spice up their day and bring a smile on their face. I recommend this book on Audible and on KU as well as the rest of the books in the Dirty series.

sexy dirty boss

This story is sexy and hot. Lizzy meets Nick Marlow, a one night stand in California. She had an opportunity for a internship for a computer company. When she goes in for her interview, it ends up being Nick. This is one sexy, hot, story, with conflicts, sacrifice and drama.
Virginia Rose narration is very good. I enjoyed listening to this story. I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.
