not a sequel

this is a continuation in the same world, not a sequel.

the story is great and had the same feel as the first one, but still feels entirely new.
the new cast is equally as interesting as the first (though not quite as colorful).

using Anneliese again is a stroke of genius as it helps connect the stories in a single narrative and she is a great narrator to boot

Interesting storyline.

Thw story line is interesting and keeps you guessing. I like the characters but feel like they could have more depth. The narrator does a good job telling the story. Overall a decent read.

Interesting premise

This was an interesting book. It takes place the future where the environment has been destroyed and the only thing to do is virtual reality. This one will stick with me for a while.
