Das Geborgene Land feiert seinen Helden: den Zwerg Tungdil und seine Freunde.
Doch der Frieden trügt...
Marodierende Orks finden in den letzten Flecken des Toten Landes schwarzes Wasser, das immun macht gegen fast alle Wunden. Die finsteren Albae schwören Rache, und die düsteren Zwerge vom Clan der Dritten ersinnen ein ausgeklügeltes Komplott, um die verhassten anderen Zwergenclans endlich aus dem Geborgenen Land zu vertreiben.
Auch Tungdil, der gehofft hatte, seine geliebte Schmiedin Balyndis zu heiraten und ein neues Leben zu beginnen, erlebt eine herbe Niederlage. Ihr Clan erkennt ihn nicht als rechtmäßigen Verlobten von Balyndis an, denn sie ist jemand anderem versprochen und muss sich dem Willen des Clans fügen.
Als dann auch noch ein Meteor die Festung Ogertod verwüstet, scheint es so als würde die letzte Prophezeiung des sterbenden Nôd’onn in Erfüllung gehen: Ein fallender Stern ist der Vorbote einer neuen Gefahr aus dem Westen. Jenseits der Grenzen sammelt sich die größte Bedrohung für das Geborgene Land, die es jemals gab.

Kleine Helden mit großer Klappe
Zeit für den nächsten Zwergenaufstand: Markus Heitz' Saga rund um die zähen, liebeswerten Raufbolde geht in die zweite Runde. Eigentlich scheint alles in bester Ordnung - das Geborgene Land ist gerettet, der böse Magier Nôd’onn sicher unter der Erde und selbst das Tote Land nicht mehr verflucht. Wären da nicht die bösen Orks, die über ein Unverwundbarkeitsserum stolpern. Oder die düsteren Zwerge und Albae, die schon teuflische Rachepläne schmieden ... Auch Zwerg Tungdil hätte sich seine Rückkehr eigentlich etwas anders vorgestellt. Statt heldenhaftem Empfang und Hochzeit erwartet ihn ein großer Schock: Seine große Liebe muss sich dem Willen des Clans fügen und einen anderen heiraten. Nicht zu vergessen die elf Verkörperungen des Bösen, die sich an der Westgrenze des Zwergenreichs zusammenrotten ... Mit großem Herz für seine charmanten und vielschichtigen Charaktere peitscht das spannende Fantasy-Epos die kleinen Helden mit großer Klappe (und Spitzhacke) im rasanten Tempo durch die Story. Viel Spaß beim atemlosen Abenteuer im Clinch mit Orks, Ogern und dunkeln Elfen!
