Following his death by pie-eating contest, pudgy, pathetic putz Zack found himself in the body of the recently killed demonic sect elder known as Slifer, supreme elder of the Black Rose Sect. Slifer was revered by many and feared by all, and under Zack's management he was going to kick some serious ass—even if the System really had it in for him.
After a botched mass-assassination attempt by the rival Black Death Sect, Slifer's decided to pay a friendly visit to the other evil sects for the sake of peace. In other words, he's planning to dominate them by threat of a horrific, painful death and then convert them all into nice guys.
Slifer's also sent his young avatar, Zack, to the Northern Region to make a breakthrough to the Core Formation Realm. But the secretive locals have their own rules, and they don't like invading outsiders stirring up trouble—or searching for the legendary Realm's Blessing, which grants unmatched power.
Most importantly, Slifer must continue to keep anyone from finding out that behind his sinister, savage facade lies the heart, mind, and soul of a total dork. Because if they do, being brutally slaughtered will be the least of his problems. Truly, doing evil for the greater good is such thankless work.
