Good read, But could have spoke more on Jessie Ray and his family in the end.

Really good read!

I have been a fan of Mary since reading God Don't Like Ugly over 15 years ago. After reading this book I remember why I love Mary Monroe's books so much. I couldn't stop listening. I listened all the way through non stop. Even though it was a good read, I hoped for more of a twisted end.

Overall good story. I wish the ending was more concise. I live for Mary Monroe stories/drama lol.

Hilarious

The way Patricia R. Floyd narrates a book must be studied. This book kept me laughing. The story was excellent and the performance was superb.

Lip smacking juicy mouth

The story was a little slow. But the narrator’s mouth was juicy. The swallowing and smacking was distracting.

The grass isn't greener on the other side

I loved the narrator. She could imitate all the different people's. I like how the author way of describing each situation. This book was a real page turner. I enjoyed it. She thought that her life with her first love would be better than with her rich husband. She would be very wrong. This is a must listen to book.

Slow Start

I ended up enjoying this story about midway through it. Stay with it until the end.

Highly Recommended

Ms. Monroe is at it again! The main character's transformation is astounding as she justifies her actions all through the book before coming back full circle to her values. No one is who he or she appears to be, yet everyone is exactly who they reveal themselves to be. The narrative was easy to listen to; she did a great job transitioning between characters and came across believeably. This audible is highly recommended. Sometimes you will laugh out loud, sometimes you will shake head in disgust, and other times you will feel sorry for all of the characters at some point. There are great lessons in this book.
