Great addition to the series

I've enjoyed this series and this is an entertaining addition. It feels like there will be more to come. The reader is excellent.

Good Addition to This Series

I have loved this series so far and feel like this was a great addition. I love the appearance from characters in the first three books. I will say this one didn't pull me in quite like the others and I was a little disappointed with the lackluster ending. I felt left wanting or maybe needing more. I hope we get to see more about Detective Nicole's story in the future.

Just ok

I didn’t like this book as much as her others in this series. The main storyline was over shadowed by the love story. I didn’t care for the narrator.

Good story

I haven't read any of the previous books in this series but I could still follow the story when previous people were mentioned. I thought the romance was a good addition to the story. Teri Clark Linden was a great narrator.

Easy reading, enjoyable

See above, entertaining. Like this author have read several of her books, the language is pretty clean. Appreciate that.

Not the best, skip it

Loved her other books in the series, really did not like this one. Story wasn't great, not that interesting, Leyla was terrible, didn't like her relationship and back and forth with Sean.

Loved the book, but narration ruined it

I love Laura Griffin's books, she's an auto-purchase author for me. I read the book very quickly and was looking forward to the audio book, but I ended up fast-forwarding through much of it. I just couldn't stand the narrator's voice for the main character, Leyla Breda. Leyla came across sounding like a 13 year-old, pinging pretty high on the Ick Meter for me. I wanted to love this audio book, but sadly couldn't bring myself to like it very much.

Could not stay engaged at all. Slow pace . Sorry readers the plot may have been there but I couldn’t stay awake to find it
