Deep River Shifters

I thought each story was sweet and to the point. Each bear shifter has a unique sharpness to it.

entertaining and short.

a slight alterations in tone between the characters would make the conversation easier to follow.

Only missing a star because obviously, virtual voice is awful.

Nice simple, very short stories that were easy to follow! They kept my interest, but I was able to get some things done while I was listening. I wish this author could choose a person to narrate the book. But sometimes virtual narration is better than a whining person… I wouldn’t pay money for this collection, I’m so glad it was free!

deep river shifters

loved the story of how stylish finds his love, the description was perfect about how they get their bear or which type of bear they are was dead on point.

To many cliffhangers

I liked the stories but the ending were not so good. And I would have loved a man voice for the male roles. I just will be left wondering about a better ending

Hate the virtual voice

I really liked the stories and characters. I didn’t like the virtual voice. It was so hard to follow - never knew who was speaking and all flat.

The cliff hanger after the end

On the first book it took 10 chapters to get immersed in it but I found it very fascinating once I was. There are four books and a huge cliffhanger at the end of the fourth book. Where is the fifth book ? I did not see anything about a fifth book to tie up all the loose ends.

characters

To short wanted longer ending's for each person. Needed more story line. To much thinking needed more conversation.

To short

Although the story is too short and seems to need a couple more chapters to complete, the story is however well written. The only drawback to the "Deep River Shifters" series, is the performance of the virtual voice. Throughout the series, it stutters, as well as having an echo and the ability to lull you to sleep. The books themselves stay on track, drawing you from one story to the other. Tying in the narrative from the prior book, as expected. However once you reach book 4, you're expecting a book five or six, to complete the story narrative. Why? Because the way in which book 4 ends, leads the read/listener to the conclusion that the author has something else to say, in comparisons to the completed story.
