More than an insightful psychologist, Carl Gustav Jung was the 20th century's greatest articulator of the primacy of mind in nature, a view whose origins vanish behind the mists of time. Underlying Jung's extraordinary body of work, and providing a foundation for it, there is a broad and sophisticated system of metaphysical thought. This system, however, is only implied in Jung's writings, so as to shield his scientific persona from accusations of philosophical speculation.
The present book scrutinizes Jung's work to distil and reveal that extraordinary, hidden metaphysical treasure: For Jung, mind and world are one and the same entity; reality is fundamentally experiential, not material; the psyche builds and maintains its body, not the other way around; and the ultimate meaning of our sacrificial lives is to serve God by providing a reflecting mirror to God's own instinctive mentation. The various sections illustrate internal obstacles such as intimidation by the magnitude of the project, the readiness to avoid the hard work, and gnawing self-doubt, but also provide tools to strengthen consciousness to take these obstacles on. Additional essays address living in haunted houses, the necessity of failure, and the gift and limits of therapy.

Great interpretation of Jung’s later work.
Increased my understanding of Jung. My first introduction to the synchronicity concept. Interesting conjecture on the meaning of life and human purpose. I wish I had found this book earlier in my life as I did when the first introduced to Carl Jung I look forward to further information on the subject of synchronicity and space time and matter. I am looking for similar work as this.

If you are looking to dive into Carl Jung start here.
Bernardo Kastrup is one of the greatest thinkers of our time. He can clearly explain complex ideas and discuss metaphysics. I have been studying the topic of consciousness and the nature of reality for a year now and must say that Carl Jung was far ahead of his time. Mainstream science may see a paradigm shif in the next 100 years and If that reality unfolds I believe people like Kastrup and Jung will be the ones we look back at an admire for initiating that shift.
