Nostalgia overload!

I remember picking up Pilgrimage to Hell at the Waldenbooks in Southgate Mall back in 1986… when it shared the shelf with Phoenix 2000, Outrider, The Last Ranger, etc..

I was a teenager and these pulpy postapoc books were just the best. I wouldn’t stop buying them until the late 90’s when it became difficult to find them in grocery stores.

I’ve owned this series in print, cassette tape, and CD. I absolutely love these!

When I first discovered the Acker series years ago, it was a fantastic fun read with memorable characters and adventures. Sadly I did not see them carried in the stores for a while where I usually purchased them. You can imagine my delight at finding the series professionally produced audiobook with special effects and great voice acting. Now one of my old guilty pleasure reads is even more accessible and entertaining. For all Axler fans just buy it and enjoy!

Wow obsessed, yay for Graphic Audio

What an absolute treat to stumble upon. I’m obsessed with Graphic Audio, it’s basically the only way I truly enjoy audiobooks at this point so I was looking for more titles when I found Deathlands and wow…the story, the performances, the fact there’s SO many books! Everything is phenomenally done. Fills my sci-fi loving heart with such joy. If you’re a fan of Graphic Audio and enjoy sci-fi/ fantasy/ dystopian etc. then you’ll love this series.

I've looked for physical copies to no avail and found these adaptations, it's been great being able to listen to this while working on a project or during downtime

I've listened to about 30 books when they were only on CD I love this series stories always are connected to the book before in the book after great writing I wish they offered more of the books in a bundle instead of individually but great listen
