Reader isn't great

It's hard to get past the reader while listening to this book. Hey, there's no such word as nucular. It's nuclear. Nu-cle-ar. She has a song-song voice that's pretty hard to take, and she stutters several times. Also, thanks to the author for giving away the ending to the first book in this series. I guess I won't be reading that.

Disappointing

I enjoyed the first book in this series, but the second leaves a great deal to be desired. Many characters are brought back for absolutely no reason. Plot points are introduced then never mentioned again. If I hadn't read the first book, perhaps I would have enjoyed this more (although that doesn't change the plot point problem). I'm debating whether or not to read the next book in the series. Too bad. PS - If you dislike hearing the reader turning pages, you may have another problem with this book.
