Ein neuer Fall für Babette Fleurentin!
Im Neunhundert-Seelen-Dorf La Ganipote herrscht helle Aufregung, denn das Highlight des Jahres steht bevor: das Mimosenfest. Dieses Mal allerdings setzt jemand alles daran, die Veranstaltung zu sabotieren. Zunächst geht es dem Festkomitee an den Kragen, dann verschwindet die Krone der Mimosenkönigin und schließlich wird am Tag des Blumenkorsos auf dem Festwagen des Minigolf-Vereins eine Leiche entdeckt. Das lässt nicht nur Babette aufhorchen, sondern auch Jean-Luc Perez, der sich sofort auf den Weg nach Oléron macht. Doch wegen eines Unfalls ist die Brücke unpassierbar, was Babette und Marilou etwas Luft verschafft, um den Fall zu lösen. Viel Zeit bleibt ihnen jedoch nicht. Denn der Inspektor aus Bordeaux ist fest entschlossen, auf die Insel zu gelangen – egal wie.
