A self-help book camouflaged as a textbook

The length of the book could be halved if you took out all the ".. is a powerful technique" and ".. is a harmless method, unless done with malicious intent, then it's the end of the world". Few, if any of these, and other assertions made throughout the book are substantiated. The reader is left with no other option than to trust what the author is saying.

I would recommend Daniel Kahneman's Thinking fast and slow instead

Some Good Information, Horrible Publishing

These books have some good information, but it is very hard to digest. The book does not flow well and, it seems, that the author is not a native English speaker. There is nothing wrong with this, however he should fire his editor. The number of grammatical mistakes and clunky sentences is staggering. In a number of places, the author completely drops all articles. The bad grammar makes the narrative very hard to follow.

Any decent editor would have helped the author to smooth out these issues and make the prose flow more smoothly.

Abort your purchase

The narrator is mundane and the content is contradictory and does not give information you are looking for. There’s a bit about smiling, waste of time and wanted to throw my phone for how annoying it was.

If you want to hear about things you already know or need a book to put you to sleep, get this one.

Find something else.

Filled with plot holes and spelling errors. Seriously doubt the author is accredited in any form. Really wish I looked into that before purchasing book. This book is little more than basic communication skills with the allusion that theres something else at play. If you haven't read Dale Carnegie's: How to win friends and influence people, read that. If you have read Dale Carnegie then just skip this mess all together.
