Loved it!

I hope Donna Grant never runs out of inspiration for this series and this world. So thrilled that the Dark Kings is continuing in Dragon Kings and I thoroughly expect that the Reapers stories will continue as well. It was wonderful to hear Cathall’s story and love with Sorcha. Can’t get enough of this whole world! Keep it going Donna Grant! Please!

I loved it.

I really like the series. However, I would love to see the main characters interacting more with their extended family. I also wish that we would have seen more of Sorcha's magic. The female character was supposedly super powerful but we only saw her use her magic once. This is definitely a series I will read again and again.

defianly less dramatic than some of the other reaper books, but still just as good. The epilogue at the end makes me wanna read the next book now but sadly have to wait. if you haven't read or listened to the whole series I encourage you to do so. Worth every minute!

I love the Reapers, and Erith and Cael. They are all such great characters. This one was built around Cathal and Sorcha who meet and fall in love. Sorcha is a Halfling, half Fae and half Druid, and has a lot of magic power, which she suddenly found out about after not using magic for ten years.
I can't wait for the next book, along with more Dragon Kings**********

The F-bomb was used 3 times and the word Fek was used 18 times, in place of the F-bomb. AND as usual, there was one sex scene**********

As to the narration: Victoria McGloven does a great job on the voices. I'm so glad her men actually sound like men and everyone has their own distinct voice. I especially like Erith's voice.

As always this book is fantastic Donna's Reaper series & Fark work series ate a great read/audio listen she is a so good at transporting into her books

Love and Adventure!

I love this book, (as a do all the Reaper books). Donna Grant keeps the surprises coming, just when you think things will be calm for a bit she adds an unexpected twist to the plot and we are off on another adventure. Victoria McGovern gives a spectacular narration bringing vivid color and life to all the characters. You are right there with them in this magical place. I can't wait for the next book! I very highly recommend this book.

Dark Alpha's Caress is the 10th installment of The Reaper series and is intertwined with The Dark Kings series
so should be read in order as there are many arcs that take place throughout the books.

This is Cathal and Sorcha's story....

Cathal is one of Death's reapers and is sent to check out what might be a new enemy. He catches sight of Sorcha and instantly feels like he needs to find out who she is.
Sorcha is a Skye druid and has been in self isolation for 10 yrs with guilt over the deaths of her mother and sister.
Together they discover Sorcha's past and confront the enemy while falling madly in LOVE!!
There are many questions at the end of this book that perfectly sets up the next book!

I'm a sucker for Love at First sight so this was def one of my favorites!!

More Reapers!!

I am a huge fan of anything by Doona Grant, and I have been waiting for more of the Reapers. One of the best part is the we never have to wait to long. In this addition Cathal gets his turn. This takes place right after the events of Inferno so please make sure you are caught up before you start this book. Cathal meet Sorcha while she is spying on a meeting of Druids. Not only is she a half Fae but she is also half Druid. Like all of Donna Grant’s heroine Sorcha has an inner strength that Cathal can’t help but be attracted to. I would highly recommend this book or any in this universe.
And Victoria McGloven always does alright job.

Dark Alpha’s Caress is a Reaper book, and is a part of the Greater Dark World—Fae, Druids, Warriors and Dragon Kings. This book is a part of series of books and really should not be read as a stand-alone book, long story arcs and character dynamics have been building over this sub-series and in the main series.

Sorcha is not just any halfling, she a hybrid of Fae and Druid. Extremely powerful and highly secretive, she is wanted by a powerful Fae for what at first is unknown reasons. Cathal takes notice of this halfling when she spies on a meeting of Druids. He takes her under his wing to protect her, then he falls for her.

This book takes place after the battle for the Light Throne. The Others are gone, and there is a power vacuum. The wheels are turning to start the next story arc, but where it is going is up in the air at the moment. This novella isn’t a must read, but a you really really want to read it. More of the second group of Reapers characters are shown. Five stars- Donna Grant doesn’t disappoint.

Oh my gosh this book is awesome. I like Cathal, he is like Eoghan they are nice and quiet persons. At first I think that Sorcha was a complicated person, I did not like the way she treated Cathal because he was nothing but nice to her. After I heard her story I understand her pain. I also know she is nice person. I am glad she is with Cathal they both deserve happiness after everything they went through. I was so afraid that Cathal would died 😔, woo thank God 🙏 Sorcha step in and help him and Ashley. This book was amazing and I didn't want it to end.
