Publisher's summary

After leaving Netherfield, Fitzwilliam Darcy hopes to escape the memory of Elizabeth Bennet.

Yet, he cannot escape her in his dreams, where she angrily rejects his suit. As these dreams seem partially prophetic, Darcy begins to reconsider his actions in Hertfordshire.

Unbeknownst to him, Elizabeth is experiencing similar dreams, seeing a different side of Darcy than the haughty demeanor he initially displayed. When they meet again in Kent, their reunion is unexpectedly amiable especially as they come to realize they shared a dream of the future.

However, both families have those determined to keep them apart. Will their dreams unite them or drive them further apart? Join our dear couple as they fight against those who would make their dreams a nightmare.

The perspective of the story telling, it was like hearing it from a rubic cube view.

Nothing at all. Story was great, narrators were very good for this story. I enjoyed it.

prophetic dreams

With prophetic dreams, they can help one look at things from a different perspective and hopefully correct anything that is needed. Darcy and Elizabeth, both separately experienced dreams that shock them both. Because of these dreams, they both start to reevaluate their positions, beliefs, prejudices and pride. When Darcy and Elizabeth meet again in Kent, they were able to figure out they both had dreamed the same dream. With this opening, they were able to have deep and important conversations. Honest conversations was one thing that was missing in the original. We have read many JAFF that have these characters having conversation instead of the arguments and distain in the original. What a difference it can make. In this story I so enjoyed when Darcy asked Bingley what he and Jane talk about. He replies “This and that. We speak of the weather, her sisters, my sisters, the neighbors….” Darcy is dumbfounded with Bingley even after Darcy gives examples of deeper topics that include shared values and ideals. Bingley is speechless. This is how I often see the original Bingley. I do like Elizabeth’s uncles and how they do a much better job of protecting their nieces then either of their parents. They also support Darcy and Elizabeth and how to deal with a not “good”/selfish Mr. Bennet. Dreams continue to be a factor throughout the story as Darcy and Elizabeth continue their journey.
4.5 stars rounded up to 5. I had the privilege of being a beta reader on this story. I then also borrowed it on Kindle unlimited and definitely liked the improvements that the author did. Will I read it again? Yes, I will.

Audiobook - With Harry Frost & Elizabeth Grace narrating the story made an enjoyable story even better!!! These are two of my favorite JAFF narrators and to have them paired up is wonderful.

Wonderful Premise with Precognitive Dreams!

This was a sweet Elizabeth and Darcy story. It was them against the world. This story had a dastardly Wickham and a bad Mr Bennet. Caroline and Lady Catherine were full tilt evil. Harry Frost and Elizabeth Grace gave an amazing performance. This book goes Stratton the top of my favorite list.
