About this listen

It’s time to wake the sleeping giant in our world, in our communities, in our churches, and in our homes.

There’s a revolution brewing, a sleeping giant coming out of a long slumber. For years, men have been sitting to the side, minding their own business, nursing their own wounds. But that time is reaching its end. Our wounds must surely be tended to, and our business must surely be minded. We are meant for greater things than these, and the world can no longer indulge our slumber. Justice demands a response to these troubling times. Righteousness demands a champion to counter a climate of moral relativism. God made us men; it’s time to act like it.

Good men are in high demand but low supply. That reality is creating suffering and injustice at every level of society in every community worldwide. Dangerous Good calls on the millennial generation of men who follow Jesus worldwide to confront that by deciding, individually and as a group, to be dangerous with goodness like Jesus. Here is the next revolution of masculinity the world is waiting for.

A Lot of Good Material Worth Considering and Integrating

Kenny Luck has written something quite powerful and really worth considering as a Christian and even non-Christian man. The principles and insights that were laid out are both great echoes of what our Lord presented by word and by action as well as provocative in the sense that the world and God clearly do not benefit from us “hiding our light beneath any bushels.” I will definitely give this another listen as some of the material was personally challenging. I’m appreciative that this book was not a typical “holier-than-thou” beatdown but instead a presentation of authentic experience, reflection and wisdom.

Inspiring resource for Men

I have the privilege of attending Kenny’s church and the Men’s ministry has flourished under his stewardship. When Dangerous Good was first published, I listened/read it with my teenage son. A tremendous resource for both of us and opportunity to spend quality time together discussing men of God versus men of culture. Now, almost two years later, rereading it with my other sons - fired up!
