Great story made less great by narrator
I really enjoyed this story. The only thing that got in the way was how the narrator’s sentences kind of trail off in a wistful way. It felt contrived and like it’s the only trick her bag.

Wonderful story and performance!! One audio issue!!
Loved the story and the narrator. And the ending OMG! I never saw that coming. The only issue I had with the audiobook was the mix. There’s some type of noise gate or limiter used in the mix that shuts down the ends of some audio lines from time to time, and it gets ready annoying. Other than that it was GREAT!!

Wow!!
Might be my favorite Alice Feeney Novel… I loved it. I figured out the twist pretty early on but not the whole ending. I really enjoyed it and love how everything really makes sense at the end. I highly recommend this novel.

a great new author to obsess over!
amazing narration! I audiobooks the narrator is just as important as the story, more so maybe. Stephanie racine does a fantastic job. gripping without being over dramatic.
the story itself grabs you from the start.i was instantly invested. A lot of times with Mysteries the author gets repetitive just to drag the story out, The protagonist constantly asking the same questions over and over again and you do not have the here at all. If you like Lucy Foley and Ruth where you're gonna like Alice feeney.
I can't wait To read another one by this author
