Publisher's summary

New York City detective Michael Bennett faces his most terrifying killer ever. It could be anyone. They could be anywhere.

A killer uses fearsome precision to take out impossible targets.

Detective Michael Bennett teams with a shooting expert—a former Army Ranger and sniper with NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit. But Officer Rob Trilling seems more comfortable with rifles than he is with people.

When his new partner begins to log unexplained absences from duty, only Bennett can prove whether the decorated officer is a lonely hunter or a hardened assassin.

A Democratic Family

This was a great read as a mystery but the best part was the end when one of the children spoke about her family and the way this large and diverse family represented how democracy functions. It would be great if everyone in the United States could hear how great diversity can function as an example of how our diverse country can function in a true democracy. Maybe all the news about the political mess could read that paragraph to all the citizens of the USA.

narrator

the story was good I didn't particularly care too much with the narrator. He sounded like Batman. LOL

I love quite a few series and this is at the top! I love the flow of the story line… easy to keep track of characters. I couldn’t stop and finished in one day. Definitely recommend!

This was a great book. All the twist will keep you guessing. Not predictable and you will not guess who did it until the end.

The kind of cop that Mike Bennett is in all the stories.

what's most important to me is the consistency of the narrators they are what bring the story to life in the audio dramatization that's important to me it's what keeps me coming back for all the stories because the narrator is what actually brings the whole story to life. it's the thing that differentiates audiobooks from reading the actual text in the book.
