it is well written. the narrator is very good. the story keeps your attention. a feel good book!

The writing is concise and to the point. The narrators voice is very calming. It’s the kind of story you would experience in a dream. I heard this years ago and I remember it from time to time.

It is short, and it explores the complex themes only briefly. It’s about a character coming of age from a life of privilege and experiencing prejudice, imperialism, and love.
