Lighthearted, thoughtful, and narrated incredibly

The narration is incredible. Sleep really brings the characters to life and the sound effects are on point.

I like following along with a series like this. The style clearly changes naturally as the story assembles itself.

Mordred is one of my favorite villains of all time, he is hatable and scary. He is a very believable and relatable person. He taps into emotions that no other villain has ever done for me, and for that, I respect this series.

One of my favorites in the series

Hilarious, great performance, memorable characters, and a satisfying plot--what else is there? This book outperforms many others in the series in all those metrics.

I do feel like more of an inline recap would be useful. (Who is this person travelling with Julian and Chaz, again? Several chapters later....OH, YEAH! That person!) The plot has become quite extensive, throughout the years, so I think we could all use a few reminders. Nevertheless, the book is quite entertaining in its own right.

If you're a fan of the series, you need this book.

Bevan does it again!

Johnathan Sleep knocks this one out of the park. I don't know how many takes he has to do to keep from laughing so hard.

another good one, but the jokes getting stale.

It seems like the story is getting harder to write for Bevan, it's decent, but it's lost a little something in my opinion.

Fantastic as always!

I loved every chapter of this book.

Idk what that other reviewer is smoking - Catherine is my FAVORITE character! Spiderbitch!

The ending was a fantastic twist I didnt see coming.

To everyone in the reviews who wants this series to end? Shut it! This series is my favorite.

I would love to have the plot advance like everyone, but I can savor waiting bc each book is so excellent!

This series rivals Bobiverse as my favorite books of all time. I dont want this to ever end.

The point is, they're not going to leave.

The original point of the quest, everyone escaping the game to return to their old lives, has fallen away. I don't believe most of the main cast will leave since they have found purpose in the game world that they didn't back home. So I'm not listening explicitly for how they get home, but for the adventures they have along the way. Even if it can become a bit more gross than it needs to be.

As amazing as the rest

Do I just relisten to this 9th book since I've only heard it once? Should I start back and listen from the beginning again, starting at 1? I already heard 1-8 like 5 times. why does a series have to be so good to make this desicion so hard?

Whatever you’re paying Jonathan Sleep…….

It’s not enough….. This should be a Netflix series. “Hey Druid” took it to another level.

Another Bevan masterpiece

I was a little bummed out with how the characters were developing for 7 and 8, but everyone is finally coming into their own with 9. 16+ hours and I couldn’t stop reading until about hour 14, then I didn’t want it to end! Super excited for 10. This is one of those book series you just hope will go on forever. Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, or whoever; MAKE THIS INTO A SERIES!!!

Still love this series.

I know it's a long series, but I don't want it to end any time soon.
