Love!

I absolutely adored this book and the audiobook! The Narrator did a great job on the audio. I fell completely in love with all the amazing characters and the wonderfully unique storyline! There are so many surprises, and I loved every one of them! I cannot wait for book 2. I highly recommend this book and consider it a must read!

love this book 🦋

absolutely loved this book. The fact that the main character is a single mom is epic, and the shifter aspect of butterfly? I just did not see that coming. I have read lots of shifter books and this is the first one about them. The storyline is good and it just pulls you in.
I read and listened to it and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to see what happens next

An Interesting Story

What a unique concept. I love it!!! I’m off to get the next book now. The narrator is good, just not as expressive and enthusiastic as I’m used to; but a good reader.

Need more of this world!

Wow, this book was so fun and full of surprises.
In hindsight, I absolutely should’ve seen everything coming, the clues were there, but as this book was not quite like anything else I’ve read, I was just absorbed in it and not worrying about predicting it.

That is rare for me, as pretty much everything’s been done before.
This book packs characters I loved to hate, characters I related to and rooted for, intrigue, mystery, a fresh start and lots of steamy scenes.

Overall very well done. Hope to read on in the series.

Audiobook performance is good. The narrator’s accent took me out of it a few times, but only briefly and overall, she was good. I’d listen to more from her.

Good new series

This was a good start to a series with a very interesting take on shifters. There is magic and there are shifters but that doesn’t get revealed for a while. The guys are very secretive and things are going well for the FMC and her daughter until a woman shows up and then things take a dive. I am curious to find out more about these shifters and what will happen next. It left of on an interesting revelation and hopefully things will be more open now that people know things. I am hoping there will be more character development in the later books but definitely curious to see what’s next.

Rissy is the best!

I love the relationship the FMC has with her daughter. This story was unexpectedly heartwarming with lots of heat.

The narrator did a great job with the different voices and flow of the story. Excited for the next book!

Love this new series!

Kat Blak has taken a completely different view of shifters in this spicy RH from any I have ever read before. The book is filled with secrets, sexcapades, intrigue, villians and tension with enough interaction between all the characters to quickly make the story evolve. Added unexpected twists and turns, will keep your attention and will make taking a break from listening a challenge. I enjoyed the narrator as well and felt she did a good job.
There are questions to be answered in the next book and this one definitely ends in a cliffhanger, leaving you wanting more. Enjoy!

Ugh!!!! In a good way

The end was like flying and then fall just to splat because it is over. Just when we are getting into the meat of the story. The first book has heat and fire and is a fast burn start for the series. The narrator did a terrific job and I really enjoyed it. I like that it is a different type of shifter as well. Now I need the second book!

wow what to say

Wow that was a super unexpected turn of events. But really as this is a Kat blak book I should've known better!! I really loved the lead up and then that ending wow bring on book 2!!!
