Taking place during the latter events of The Death Cure, Crank Palace tells the story of Newt like never before, from inside his own mind, as he searches for meaning in a life gone horribly wrong. He will try to fulfill a newfound destiny before his path leads to its inevitable conclusion - and one last meeting with his best friend.

Impressed

Excellent!! Even better than I as expected. It was a great way to honor Newt in to get some clarity on some unanswered questions. And made me finally make my stance on whether or not WICKED is truly good. I won’t share my opinion so you don’t have a bias going in, but definitely READ IT!

My favorite book in the series

The crank palace is my favorite book in the series it really tells you a lot about newt. This book will have you crying or almost crying I really really recommend reading this book it is sooo good really sad cute and just a roller coaster of emotions

Best book ever.

I loved this book so much it very good and has a great story plot. Personally newt is my favorite character and seeing what he felt was Turley a great experience. The ending is very sad it made me cry and I really really wish he was immune and he got the cure or if he ended on good things with Tommy and Minho but he really didn’t because of the flare and it infesting his poor brain. I recommend this book to maze runner fans and if newt is your favorite character.

An actual must, nonnegotiable

Newt was a character most people probably connected with deeply. I’m glad we got this closure. I cried like a newborn.

The different POV stood out most to me

I knew this one was going to be an emotional rollercoaster because it was focused around Newt. James Dashner is always very good at making the epilogue the real twist and grabbing your full attention, hanging on to every last word.

Heartbreaking

This was one of the best books I have ever read in my life it was so heartbreakingly amazing following newt through this adventure that when I was finished I just had to sit there and think for a while then sadness and happiness were at war for my dominant emotion though it might not be very long it is a must read I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone you have to give it a try!!!! The narrations is great the stories amazing and overall it has the perfect balance between laughing and crying it is a heartbreaking trip from when newt left the burg to when Thomas killed him no brained if you read this comment

LOVED IT

Wow.

This book unraveled Newt's version of the story in such a lively way that I felt as if the scenes were right in front of me. Though it was hard to get used to the narrator, it was overall a great listen.
I really enjoyed it!!

Wow

I have no other words. This book was incredible. It gave me hope at the end, and now I’m in tears. I absolutely love the writing style of James Dashner and how he chose to end the book. I will keep listening to this over and over, and read the book again and again when it comes out.
