Good book, FANTASTIC narration!!!

It was a good story, it felt a little incomplete in my opinion. But overall nice read.

This book was very intriguing. It's a bit difficult for books to hold my attention but I couldn't wait to have a free moment to finish listening to this one.

Flawless!

I don’t want to spoil this for anyone, so I won’t explain why, but this retelling of Hades/Persephone’s story reminded me of my favorite fairy tale Beauty and the Beast. I just wanted to put that out there for those who like the fairy tale too.

Sebastian York and Ava Erickson’s performance was flawless. Sebastian York made Cyrus sound like the iron-fisted ruler of the underworld with a big heart; and Ava Erickson portrayed Ivy as a strong, intelligent, sassy, and feisty heroine.

Since this was written by Ava Harrison, I expected there to be a twist and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed! It ties up the story in a neat bow and fits the story perfectly. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Harrison comes up with next!

Corrupt Kingdom is a slow burn, enemies-to-lovers contemporary billionaire romance written in dual first-person POV. It’s a standalone that ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.

So darn good!

Yeah I got this base on Sebastian York reading it, but he was great, the story was great and I spent my whole day listening to it and telling my family to screw off so I could listen to it. I loved this one so much and it had me on the edge of my seat.

Story & Narration!!

It had all the elements..fantastic narration, fast spicy mafia romance, suspense, and happy ending 👍

Cyrus and Ivy

This was a gut wrenching slow burn. The story keeps you wanting to find out more and then its over. The characters were likable and I did not find the Hero as such a bad guy. The heroine was young and fighter which was great to listen to. This is worth your time and listen. Sebyo....bam enough said I love him and Ava Erickson does a fantastic job as well.

very twisted

This was a twisted story, but not in a nightmarish way. Ivy was actually being saved by the man who took her. there was light at the end of the tunnel in the end. it turned out to be a beautiful love story. Sébastien York and Ava Erickson made a good team for this story.

It was good, but it wasn't what I thought it would be. Good read.

Stockholm Syndrome?

I always enjoy stories about people falling in love in situations like this. I don’t know if that makes me a little morbid or what, but in movies and in books it seems to work out for the couple. Real life....not so much. 😊 This was a cute story between a feisty girl and a mob boss type of man. I love the fact that even though she was afraid of him, it never showed and that drove him crazy. All the times she told him “no” made me laugh out loud. I even loved how she won over the vicious dog.

It started to get a little long toward the end, and it was easy to figure out the twist, but it was still an enjoyable read. Sebastian York was perfect for Cyrus because he has that gruff sounding voice. Ava did a great job, too.

One of the best audio books ever!! It has a good storyline and won't disappoint!
