Funny, cute, and romance

This was a good listen! The characters got better the longer it went and they really did take me by surprise a few times despite the fact I thought I knew what was going on! Pleasantly surprised! I do recommend!

Sweet Grumpy/Sunshine Romance

This was my first Amber Eve's book. I liked this grumpy/sunshine slow burn romance. The characters are well developed and interesting. Charlie Albers did a great job bringing this story to life. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Summer

Cool Girl Summer is a funny and lighthearted romcom. It is good for a lazy afternoon, or snuggling up with a blanket while the fire roars in the fireplace. Some of these situations are a bit wild and unlikely, but still fun. Summer is struggling. She decides to take a trip. Alex, the unpleasant man that is complaining turns out to be seated next to her on the flight. They end up tossed together over and again. Ultimately, Alex is a good guy, and their romance develops. If you enjoy light hearted romcoms, then you may like this story. I received a free copy of this audiobook, and am leaving this honest review voluntarily.

Self discovery

The audio version of this book was very entertaining, with the narrator doing a great job with inflection and getting into character.

I was drawn into Summer’s story and her decision to see what life could be beyond her hometown and her “safe” predictable life. Where was the young girl who dreamed of so much more??? This is a thoroughly entertaining book as Summer explores what can be possible if she just lets herself overcome her fears. (Maybe even a special someone?).

I totally enjoyed this book! The storyline was very good. Narration by Charlie Albers was fun and fantastic, especially 'Rita'! I was given this book free for an honest review.

Cool Girl Summer!

This is the story of Summer where she takes a step out of her comfort zone and into her wild side. She is inspired on New Years Eve by the ramblings of an older lady and then by diaries she wrote when she was younger. She books a flight and ahead to the unchartered, unknown and to find her longtime crush. On the way she meets Alex. Oh let the fun and crazy begin. This is a cute contemporary romance with some drama, crazy, hilariously and ridiculous. I enjoyed the story and the characters.

Laughs, Romance, and Perfect Narration

What a delightfully funny story! There were countless laugh-out-loud moments that had me chuckling throughout. This is one of those stories where you can appreciate the big picture without missing the little gems along the way. The character development and romance were incredibly well done, and I never felt the need to rush. If outside noise made me miss a word, I’d go back just to savor it all. Charlie Albers did an amazing job narrating—it was spot-on from beginning to end. Hats off to both the author and narrator for such an enjoyable read!

My bucket list

This is a fun laugh out loud story of Summer and her adventure to do things she always told herself she would. I love the scene at the beginning at the airport. The characters are full of life and on board to be there for Summer. This story made me think what would I do if I could change things from my past. It is worth the read because it will leave you with a smile on your face and rooting for the happy ending for Summer.
