Story
The worldwide pandemic and lock-downs have become far worse than anyone could have possibly imagined. Mark and Lamai have been contacted by Uli, a wealthy old friend that is dying of cancer that owns a Tall Sailing Ship in Hamburg, Germany. Uli tells them he has an escape plan, and to watch the 2013 sci-fi movie Elysium, where most of the elites have residences, advanced technology, no sickness or disease, and even healing pods like in the movie. Uli believes it is not up in space, but most likely a small continent or group of islands in the South Pacific, or even beyond Antarctica.

Story
Pete is a simple man who enjoys a good drink amongst good friends. Not too much to ask, right? Now, he's trapped in a fantasy world far from home, stuck underground and inside the body of a smelly dwarf with fantastic facial hair. The worst part? The swill that the dwarves are falling all over themselves to drink. It's flat, it's watery, and it has the alcohol content of a rancid coconut. Can Pete save the dwarves from their own sour fate, or will he be forever doomed to plink his pickaxe away in hopes that he hits the motherlode?

Story
Using his legendary ability to get to the root of human potential, Napoleon Hill digs deep to reveal how fear, procrastination, anger, and jealousy prevent us from realizing our personal goals. This long-suppressed parable, once considered too controversial to publish, was written by Hill in 1938 following the publication of his classic bestseller, Think and Grow Rich. Annotated and edited for a contemporary audience by Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Three Feet from Gold coauthor Sharon Lechter, this book is profound, powerful, resonant, and rich with insight.

Story
The First World War laid waste to a continent and brought about the end of innocence — and the end of faith. Unlike a generation of young writers who lost faith in the God of the Bible, however, J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis found that the Great War deepened their spiritual quest. Both men served as soldiers on the Western Front, survived the trenches, and used the experience of that conflict to ignite their Christian imagination.

"I am hopelessly and forever a mountaineer," John Muir wrote. "Civilization and fever and all the morbidness that has been hooted at me has not dimmed my glacial eye, and I care to live only to entice people to look at Nature's loveliness. My own special self is nothing". In Donald Worster's magisterial biography, John Muir's "special self" is fully explored as is his extraordinary ability, then and now, to get others to see the sacred beauty of the natural world.

Story
Four chronically homeless people - Amelia One Sky, Timber, Double Dick and Digger - seek refuge in a warm movie theater when a severe Arctic front descends on the city. During what is supposed to be a one-time event, this temporary refuge transfixes them. They fall in love with this new world and, once the weather clears, continue their trips to the cinema. On one of these outings they meet Granite, a jaded and lonely journalist who has turned his back on writing “the same story over and over again” in favor of the escapist qualities of film, and an unlikely friendship is struck.

Story
A quirky English chap with a taste for fine scotch, Dr. Phineas Templeton builds a time machine at the behest of his mysterious benefactor. His mission? To meet Jesus Christ Himself, and garner all of the fame, recognition, and accolades that writing an epic time travelogue would bring. Unfortunately for Finny, Jesus is actually a fellow time traveler, a hippie named Trent from Colorado in the future. While Trent explains that the past is fixed and immutable, Dr. Templeton realizes that he's made a horrible oversight in his calculations, and can't return to his own time period.

This audiobook is certainly well-organized.
Conversations with the Devil provides a fresh, unique take in the genre. Mixing elements of the traditional zombie apocalypse story with deeper religious themes, I couldn’t put this down. Highly recommend.

Such A Fabulous Audio-Book
This book is so fast pasted, uncomfortable and edgy... You just won't want to put it down. The characters are easy to relate with, real, dramatic, and current.
