Good story, performance needs improvement

Female reader has a bad habit of drawing out the last word of almost every sentence, which became very irritating long before the end of the book. Almost stopped halfway through. Had to grit my teeth by the end of the book.

Read the book instead, female voice beyond annoying

Sexy-hot romance- almost couldn’t bear listening to the female character voice & the way she spoke- makes sense why the audible book was only 99 cents. I’d recommend reading this instead

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

SO FREAKIN’ SEXY!!!

I love these books! But was only able to listen to the 2nd and 3rd in the series, can’t seem to find the first as an audio book. This series was steaming hot and I couldn’t stop reading until I was finished!

Loved it

Consumed by you is a wonderful and sexy story of two people who are looking for completely different things in life but can’t deny the attraction they have for each other.
Travis, a sexy and hot volunteer fire fighter has issues with committed relationships because he’s seen what can happen if you lose that very special person in your life.
Cara is looking for more than a fling and is ready to find the right person to settle down with.
Travis is not immune to sexy a women like Cara Bailey and she can’t keep him out of her mind.
They come up with a plan which seems to work out well in the beginning but their feelings for each other deepen more than was anticipated.
What happens when things get more serious than was planned? Will they be able to walk away from what they had, just as what they originally agreed on?
I loved this story. It is playful, sexy, sweet and fun and had me chuckle a few times throughout. And not surprisingly Lauren’s love for dogs shines throughout this book. A definite recommend and another 5 star story for me.

Female narration was bad.

I had to skip chapters because the female narrator has a weird, breathy way of extending the last word of almost every sentence and it became so irritating I couldn’t listen to her. I enjoy Lauren Blakely’s writing and Joe Arden is one of my favorite narrators. I made it to the end of the book because of their skills.

Travis is one hot man!!

I think this may be my favorite in this series. Travis and Cara have been "the one" for each other since they were in high school. It just took several years, and reconciling their views based on past experiences for them to realize what they wanted was right in front of--on top of and under--them.

Travis and Cara bring out the best in one another, and it was so much fun watching them slowly come to that conclusion, and accept their fate. Lauren is such an amazing writer, and how she creates such gems is beyond me, but I give thanks every time I read something new from her.

Joe Arden and Erin Mallon own these characters, and I love when they pair up for a hot and dirty romantic tale.
