Story
Lucas knows the perfect night entails just three things: video games, wine, and pad thai. Peanuts are a must! Other people? Not so much. Why complicate things when he’s happy alone? Then one day the apartment board, a vexing trio of authority, rings his doorbell. And Lucas’s solitude takes a startling hike. They demand to see his frying pan. Someone left one next to the recycling room overnight, and instead of removing the errant object, as Lucas suggests, they insist on finding the guilty party. But their plan backfires. Colossally.

Story
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Story
Traumatized by the bombing of Dresden at the time he had been imprisoned, Pilgrim drifts through all events and history, sometimes deeply implicated, sometimes a witness. He is surrounded by Vonnegut's usual large cast of continuing characters (notably here the hack science fiction writer Kilgore Trout and the alien Tralfamadorians, who oversee his life and remind him constantly that there is no causation, no order, no motive to existence).

Story
Separated by 10 years, 3,000 miles, and the unrelenting stresses of adulthood, best friends Janet and Serena plan a 40th birthday girls’ trip to reconnect. But after a massive crash, they’re the only survivors to wash ashore on an uncharted Caribbean Island. Armed with only the clothes on their backs and zero survival skills, they fight to overcome hunger, thirst, deadly wildlife—and most terrifyingly—decades of accrued resentment. Story
A bad best man’s speech can ruin a wedding. Why do we plan every detail of a perfect day and then give the groom’s idiot best friend five minutes of total power? Enter Nate (Glen Powell), a speechwriter-for-hire who helps people write incredible best man speeches. To keep the best man from embarrassing himself (and the newlyweds), Nate uses his list of don’ts: Don’t mention the exes, don’t be rated R, and don’t bum everyone out. Nate’s system never fails. That is, until he meets Dan (Nicholas Braun).

Story
Hilarious, fascinating, and a roller coaster of dizzying, historical what-ifs, Napoleon's Hemorrhoids is a potpourri for serious historians and casual history buffs. In one of Phil Mason's many revelations, you'll learn that Communist jets were two minutes away from opening fire on American planes during the Cuban missile crisis, when they had to turn back as they were running out of fuel. You'll discover that before the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon's painful hemorrhoids prevented him from mounting his horse to survey the battlefield.

Loved this!
Super interesting and fun account of Nell’s return to London after a sojourn and failed engagement in California, when she tries to figure out where she made the wrong turn and ended up single, barely employed, and living as a lodger while all her friends are married parents with lovely houses. Funny, touching, but never soppy — delightful.

Just what I needed right now!
Don’t pass up this book! Great narration. A narrator can make or break a book and this was a great match. The story is uplifting and laugh out loud or sometimes just a little giggle. Either way I’ll take anything that can make me smile right now.
if you’re wondering wtf am I doing with my life. I think this book will especially hit home for you, Even if you’re not feeling like that right now, I bet you have at one time or another. This book will strike a chord with you.
Fun and light, but also real, and perfect for us f--k ups ;)

Just what I needed!
This book has literally given me back my hope! I am a self confessed 30 something fk up - a starving artist about to be divorced & moving back to Ireland after living in California for the last 7 years! I felt like such a failure but after reading this book I feel like there is hope.. & some beauty & inspiration even in my life & my story! I am so grateful I came across this book & I even cried when it was over!!! Thank you for this! Lucy xox

Better than expected
I wanted to read something light and found the good reviews of this book, so thought I would give it a shot. Well… I really loved it! I just finished and am sad that I won’t be able to listen any longer. The story was well written and much deeper than I expected. Although I’m married I also related tremendously with being a 40 something f*** up. The story was brilliant and had lots of hidden gems I wasn’t expecting. The narration was also spot on. So glad I chose this book!!!
