A little dated but still does it’s job!

The information provided here it’s a little old but if you want the basics this is not bad.

Great Overview

Great overview and packed a lot into one book. Each chapter could be it’s own book. The narrator made it slightly challenging to listen to, but if you speed it up you can cover move and it sounds way more exciting. Overall, I’m glad I listened.

Still relevant today despite the time lapsed

However in the finance section there were some statements i don’t agree with. The decisions about how to depreciate an asset… straight line vs reducing balance and others .. are not primarily driven by tax … at least not in many countries outside the US. The tax authorities use their own tables together with any ongoing government incentives to compute capital allowances for tax credits. The difference between this and the company’s own depreciation calculation gives rise to deferred tax

The Narrator is pretty bad

The performance is really bad. It sounds almost like the doesn't know how to read very well. Cadence and tempo changes in speech is mildly annoying. not sure ill make it through the whole book because of it.

Great explanation for beginners

Did a great job of explaining terms that I’ve heard my whole life but never really understood.

Good content, but needed to speed it up

very good book to get a broad yet in-depth view of the MBA. however the narrators default speed was painfully slow. He becomes comfortable to listen to at 1.60. Trust me, you will shave 8 hours off the 19 hours.

A great book

A wonderful book that I found to be developmental and maturative for a young man coming of age such as myself. I found great relation with the author and i further highly recommend this book.

Good content Narration is slow

What helped me get past the narration was going about 2 to 2.5 times speed. Hope that helps
