About this listen

A triangle with a twist, Coming Home is the story of three good people caught up in an impossible situation.

Rob, a charismatic ex-fighter pilot severely disabled with MS, has been steadfastly cared for by his wife, Jan, for many years. Quite by accident one day, Terry, a young writer/postal carrier, enters their lives and turns it upside down.

Injecting joy and turbulence into their quiet existence, Terry draws Rob and Jan into her lively circle of family and friends until the growing attachment between the two women begins to strain the bonds of love and loyalty, to Rob and each other. Contains mature themes.

Covet Thy Wife of A Dying Man

Great Story, Great Narration. Two of the most cringy MCs I've listened to recently, though. Claire was the most sane of all the characters. She said what I had been thinking throughout the story, 100%. I would like to hear what happens to Marika post story - side story. maybe.

Good

The mistake I did was I listed to “Broken Faith” first, which was a much better story than this. Anyway, this was not a bad read and listen. But just dragged and their time together was not as long.

Touching story

This is my first book of this author, narrator did a great job narrating. MC encountered very difficult situation, ending is kind of expected but it's still a very good story. it's a book I will go back for re-listen.

Beautiful and Emotional

This was such a beautiful love story. I loved the characters, the love they felt for each other and the way they respected Rob by not consummating their own love for each other until his death. This book was so well done and touched me deeply.

A different but good story

I usually scroll through AB titles until one grabs my attention and pulls me in. Coming Home sounded like a familiar yet unique telling of a love triangle. I certainly enjoyed this story and pulled for all the MC’s, but was drawn most to Jan. The sacrifices people make for the love of a partner can be overwhelming. What sold me here was the possibility that Jan would ultimately find 2 different but complete happily ever after stories. This story made me smile, laugh, and of course cry but more for the undying love aspect from all the characters than anything else. Thank you for creating a story in which the women were strong, relatable, and respectful. No crazy antics here, no imagined angst and roadblocks that detain the inevitable. This story is about love and good people and caring for others. If it does not leave you with introspection, then stick to the lighter fare. Well done

Requited Love

This is a beautiful story of people who love each other, with incredible characters and narration. It is intimate and longing. It is knowing. It is patient and kind and filled with honor and courage. It is simply perfect in its imperfection.

Loved this book

To think that I was supposed to visit Calgary this summer, but COVID19 made me stay home and listen to this wonderful book with wonderful narration.
