Very predictable

Mildly entertaining. Excellent narrator. very forgettable story. I sorta enjoyed the book but I had time to kill.

Audiobook Review - Collateral is the sixth installment of the Tier One series - the high-rated, pulse-pounding covert-operations thriller series by Andrews & Wilson. Tier One follows the life and operations of former Navy SEAL John Dempsey and Task Force Ember. When American and Russian covert operations collide in Kiev, the “new Cold War” goes from a simmer to a boil and escalation ensues, bringing America and her allies to the brink of World War III. Dempsey and his team are tasked to eliminate this possibility. I listened to this audiobook in two days. The narration by Ray Porter only made it more enjoyable. The Tier One series is well worth the time, never dull…there is always something around the corner on every page. My two military children (Navy & Coast Guard) have my copies of four other Tier One books. I haven’t seen them since and really don’t expect them back, hence listening to Collateral, book six on Audible. Fast moving, exciting and gripping, Collateral is a definite military thriller must-read. I’m amazed how Brian Andrews & Jeff Wilson can collectively write numerous outstanding books without losing anything. Their writing style is that where the mind’s eye can easily visualize the story and with Ray Porter’s excellent narration, this audiobook is one of the best in the military thriller genre.

Can’t fault this for what it is … covert Hoo Yeah!

I’ve landed mid series on this book and found it a good trip down an old trope. US good guy spec ops going toe to toe with Russian equivalents. Some nods to newer tech and methods, yet tactics and opposition feel a little dated now we are in the post Afghan era.
No question this is a good tale well told - you get what you should expect - lots of action, some banter (toned down) and a nod to women in the field - mind you it’s a nod not a real step…. Enjoy

Rivoting

Really well done story. Technically accurate and current. The characters are exceptional, believable, and I loved the comradre and inside humor. You captured "the Brotherhood" very well, like few others.

This is yet another damn good book in a a damn good series, the book just keep getting better and better keep up the great work gentleman! God Speed.

Great character development, can’t wait to see the new recruits by Ember.
JD is a super bad ass and Grimes has my heart.

Every time I read a book in this series I doubt it could get better but they truly do. This book is even better than the last & I’ve given each book 5 stars. I can hardly wait for the next book.

I loved it! JD and his team are the best. All the internal politics and Jarvis now in his new position can only mean many more great adventures.
