Atlanta Radio Theatre Company dramatizes Thomas E. Fuller's eerie post-apocalyptic tale. Mary, Alice, and Elizabeth fight for survival on Chronos Beach, where they live in fear and isolation. They fill their peaceful days with cooking, painting, and singing. Meanwhile, three fighter pilots encroach upon their existence as they sweep the area in search of enemy activity. Clair Whitworth Kiernan, Fiona K. Leonard, and Trudy Leonard give heartrending performances as the three young women, while Ron N. Butler, Daniel Whitworth Kiernan, and Daniel Mercy are riveting as the pilots.

A story that draws you in
What made the experience of listening to Chronos Beach (Dramatized) the most enjoyable?
The signing by the three women (magical/echoing) stood in stark contrast to the radio communication of the three pilots, which added to the contrast of objectives.
Any additional comments?
I'd heard this Atlanta Radio Theater Company performance years ago and it stuck with me, and when I came across it, getting a copy was a no-brainer. It's a compact story, imaginative with a bit of mystery and suspense as to how it'll end.
