Strong faith elements and clean romance
Wonderful narrator brought the story to life in the audiobook version of this book. Loved the growth that Ellie experiences by the end of the story, the castle setting, the library, the historical mystery, and the people of Lethersby. And Mark is absolutely charming and swoon worthy! Can’t wait for book 2!

I want more!!!
I waited patiently for this novel to be recorded in audiobook and was not disappointed to finally get to experience the magic for myself. I gifted the book to a friend for Christmas and she loved it as well. I loved the Christian storytelling without it being cringy or awkward. Actually, my heart was encouraged and convicted in a very real way and I fell in love with the characters! I hope this is the first of many from this author!

Wonderful Story!
I loved this story! The narrator did an amazing job with the various voices and accents. Marc is such a memorable hero! Ellie’s lessons and faith journey made the story especially meaningful. The beautiful descriptions brought each scene to life. I’m eager to read more from Ann Swindell!

Excellent listen /read
I read it and now I’ve listened and totally enjoyed both ways! I loved the Royal aspect, the library research, the mystery, the progression of Ellie’s faith and Bible readings, and of course, the progression of the romance! So so good!
