I love everything about this book from start to finish. It is well researched and well explained. It is delightful to me as a Christian and a must read/listen for both believers and unbelievers who want to know what and who Christ and Christmas are really all about.

All the details we never hear

I am so thankful that Pastor Renner took the time to research and follow each thread of the Christmas story. I loved hearing the words of historians and later church leaders explaining things we just don’t talk about anymore, with the story of Jesus’s birth. It is an excellent read.

So much new information

I loved the book. It was recommended to me by my pastor because I have theological issues with Christmas and it provided so much new information that I will never forget anytime. I think of the Christmas story but it still did not address. The timing of Jesus's birth and why we celebrated on December 25th. I'm still perplexed considering that that is pagan. That is the date that pagan's considered the birthdate of their gods and the Bible tells us not to take things have pagan and try to make them our own and I feel like that's what we've done with Christmas.We've taken pagan, a pagan holiday to.Their god and just celep the name of our god on it and that would be taking our god's name in vain
