Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

They said write what you know so that's what I did. I wrote dirty, I wrote erotic, I wrote the truth. And then they called me a liar. But it's not me who's lying, it's them. Our story isn't for everyone. It's not even for us. So if you're looking for the fairy tale and the stupid prince on his dumb white horse, move along. You've got a hold of the wrong book. This is not your story, this is not your life, and this is not your opportunity to dip your frightened little toe into the dark pool of water and "try new things" and then pull it out and decide... #NotForMe.

(3.5 stars) - Sweet romance for animal lovers
Chelsea is trying to save the horse therapy stable she works at with her dog Ollie before it goes under and has to be sold. She meets Nick, a widower whose daughter Lily loves horses. Chelsea convinces him to bring Lily out and starts lessons for her, but unbeknownst to her, his real estate company is working to sell the place. Lily develops a special relationship with Ollie which leads Nick to re-examine his priorities. Though it starts a bit slow, the finish is exciting. it's an earnestly sweet story.

Living One's Dreams
Dogs and horses can be calming and healing no matter the tragedy. They'd helped horse-crazy Chelsea when she'd lost her mother and now she was trying to help others in the same way. But the facility was in danger of closing. Could she rescue it? Let's add in to the mix a lovable work dog, Ollie, and a widower and his daughter. Narrator Katie Grace keeps the drama and romance flowing in this charming tale.

Heartwarming Second Chance Story
I enjoyed Choosing Chelsea. It vaguely reminded me of the movie Remember Me where a tragic loss inadvertently helps in bringing these lovely people together. Chelsea, Nick and Lily really seem destined to be a family. The threat of impending closer of Golden Coast Stables brings this trio together. Their bond grows as they fight to keep it’s doors open. Unknowingly providing a missing piece to each others puzzles and helping each other to heal.
It wasn’t hard to fall in love with Chelsea, Nick and especially Lily. Their story is beautiful and it touched my heart.
