About this listen

Henry Green was a boy who loved chocolate. He liked it bitter, sweet, dark, light, and daily, and for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks - in cakes, candy bars, milk, and every other form you could possibly imagine. Henry probably loved chocolate more than any boy in the history of the world.

One day (it started off like any other day), Henry found that strange things were happening to him. First, he made medical history with the only case of chocolate fever ever. Then, he found himself caught up in a wild and hilarious chase, climaxed by a very unusual hijacking!

Good lesson for ALL people

A fun story about too much chocolate, or too much of anything. Henry learned what moderation is. Good job.

got a little lost in the middle

I know it's a short book, but I almost felt like it jumped a chapter. The main conflict and moral of the story weren't clear.

Henry Green learns a hard lesson on overdoing it on chocolate.

This is a book I have been wanting to add to my collection for a while. I believe there was a TV adaptation of this book for a CBS TV program which I may have seen in elementary school along with How to Eat Fried Worms, which is what I also recommend.
Henry learns a tough lesson on what can happen if you overdo it on eating anything with chocolate. I'm not sure if that can happen in real life though.
Give this book a lesson, and you’ll understand the lesson Henry learns.

Great

My children enjoyed it. This book was one that we choose for our homeschool curriculum and we enjoyed listening/reading it.
