Captivating!

Born & raised in “the Cherry City” I found the stories in this book captivating and some too close to comfort & home, such as “The Vanishings”where I personally know one of William Scott Smith’s victims and had traveled Cordon & State only 45 before he killed the Willamette University studentfrom being one of his victims myself near State & Cordon Road. I recognized several names in this book.
I found this book very well researched & written and one I have already have and will continue to recommend, especially to family & friends from or still living in Oregon.

A true crime book I was glued to until the end

J.E. McComb delivers captivating tales of the some of the most sadistic and dangerous serial killers to plague the west coast. Jerry Brudos used young ladies for his twisted sexual fantasies, and committed acts of necrophilia. Speaking of perversion, I-5 killer, Randall Woodward, sexually assaulted women, including two children. The deranged Richard Marquette preferred to drain the blood of his victims, and to mutilate and dismembered their bodies. McComb also shares an accurate depiction of outlaw Harry Tracy and his sidekick, David Merrill. I appreciate the author separating facts from fiction. I also enjoyed the wondrous narration by Terry Ross.
