interesting and heartbreaking
Charlie has to make a decision that no teen his age should ever have to make, but he handles it well and sets us up for an amazing story that developes in subsequent books in this series. I love how the narrator tried to give each character their own voice, and his tone and cadence are soothing to listen to.

Wholesome and Inspirational
This is one of the sweetest, most wholesome books I've ever read! I love that the author wrote it for her younger sister and other young people like her. It's the kind of hopeful sci-fi that would be so encouraging for young teens or tweens interested in science. Eagerly awaiting book 2 which will have more adventures in space!

Great sci-fi story for everybody
This is a great beginning to Charlie's story. it is a coming of age story of a normal teen who has to make a big decision. His whole world is changing, and he begins to learn more about himself. The narrator was very easy to listen to. I can't wait to start the next book!
