Great book for behavioral change coaches

I was recommended to read this book to enhance my behavioral coaching toolkit, and to help pass my upcoming NBHWC certification test. This book is so helpful with many different strategies to improve your health and wellbeing. I recommend reading this book to anyone looking to improve health and how to coach others on the journey to healthy lifestyle choices

Great tool for improved health through changing attitudes towards self care. A must read for health coaches.

Great for health professional and everyday people alike. One of the key works for health coaches, addictions professionals, doctors and nurses, offering an easily understood explanation of the transtheoretical model by its creators. Has accessible language and a calmly encouraging tone great for everyday people. For people unfamiliar with the concept, this book helps you understand change, whether you are ready to act or feel deeply stuck or unready to change, but are being warned by your doctor or nagged by family and friends to improve your health habits. I ended up doing quizzes and assessments using the paperback book. Long lists of reasons to change do not translate well to listening, I found it hard not to tune them out, but otherwise it is a fantastic book to listen to, read, or both. I liked the narration, which was clear, engaging and done in a friendly tone.
