not quite as good as "Homer Price" (my opinion)
"Homer Price" is a bit funnier and better, in general. "Centerburg Tales" is worth a listen though. Homer and his pals are thoughtful and clever, and entertaining. The narrator does a fine job.

The book is divided into two halves,the first one is pretty funny,but the second one is even funnier than the first one

Problematic discussion of Indigenous people
I love Homer Price but this had too many negative references to indigenous Americans that I then had to explain to the kids
