Volume two includes two tales that highlight Adams unique and subtle brand of humor: "Seigerman's Percent", in which three cow punchers come up with an ingenious way to make ends meet during the slack winter period between cattle drives; and "Bad Medicine", the tale of a "Down East" moneybags who learns the folly of trying to ramrod a cattle drive himself.
