About this listen

Finnegan Temperance McLeary-May, dog walker extraordinaire, has had an eventful time in Manhattan since she first moved to New York City. Her unique profession and quirky, bubbly personality endear her to everyone who meets her.

Finnegan sits this one out as she recovers from an injury from her last misadventure so her daughter Luce picks up the reins of trouble magnet extraordinaire. When Brianne and Luce take a train to Chicago for an away game with the university's football team, shenanigans, mischief, and misadventure ensue.

The girls find themselves having the custody of two Pomeranian pups when their owner goes missing from the train. Tasked with simply bringing the dogs back to New York with them and reuniting them with their mother, what could possibly go wrong?

Great series so far

Lighthearted romp about a dog walker, her cop wife, and two adopted daughters. Thoroughly enjoyed! Highly recommend!

More Luce, more gooder!

Last time, Finnegan and Luce ended up in Jersey, and Finn was shot. (It's just a flesh wound) This time, Brianne wants to support the "footie ball" (Finn's term, don't blame me) team at an away game.
Only problem, it's in CHICAGO! (GASP) But, there's another option. Since they need to meet with a representative of the Callahan Foundation, to discuss expanding their partnership with Central Park Tails, Luce can join her, and meet with the representative while Bri hangs out with her group of friends.
Since Luce shares Finn's fear of flying, they take the train. The "pinkie sisters" are off on an adventure of their own.
BUT, this is an Unleashed story, so of course shenanigans with dogs ensues.
Another passenger of the train left her adorable pomeranians and their extra sparkly collars in their care and leaves the train ahead of schedule, apparently pursued by an abusive ex-husband.
And that's just the beginning of the adventure.

Great.

I really enjoyed Case of the Pom Poms. It was nice to get out of NYC for a bit. It was nice to see Luce and Bri with Brianne's crew.
