Good mystery

Good story line. Kept me guessing but it was worth the wait. I thought the mother was a bit over the top with body neighbor but it works.

I loved this book!!!

The story was funny heartwarming nd really entertaining. Who wouldn’t want to be a demon hunter with Kate Connor? She’s awesome.

I love the entire collection! I have the paperbacks and have read them at least 3 times over the years. The audibles I've listened to many more.

light and serious at the same time

I especially like that it's about a 40ish woman who's got a normal life. This was a series I listened to from the library years ago and decided to add to my permanent collection. I'm enjoying it as much or more than the first time. on to the next book...

Great Narrator Performing Entertaining Story

I listened to and really enjoyed, "Carpe Demon." The author created a beautifully detailed and believable world with strong characters. Narrator was spot on with every one of them and her performance was always entertaining. I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

Good paranormal mystery

Kept my interest throughout and I didn't figure out who the bad guy really was until about 75% in. I'd definitely listen to the narrator again and will continue with this series.

Really enjoyable

I started this series ages ago, back before Kindle. I could never seem to find the books. They were either checked out of the library or out of stock. I am happy to see it in Audible. The narrator sounds like the way I thought she would. The premise is interesting and kind of wholesome in a good versus evil way. I couldn't figure out why the ashes of Lazarus wouldn't have hurt the demon since Lazarus was also a saint, but I still enjoyed the story.

Maybe reading the book is better

Not sure if this is a good story or not. Unfortunately the narrator ruins it for me, her voice inflections just really make the heroine annoy me.

The storyline seems pretty solid but again the narrator kept pulling me out of truly immersing myself into the storyline.

I received the E book for free through Amazon and the audible was only $1.99. I wish I would have listened to the sample before I even spent the $2 since audible doesnt want us returning books.

I'm going to try and read the story to see if it's any better when I'm the one deciding how they "talk". It seems almost all the reviews think this is a great story so heres hoping reading it will live up to the hype.

not for me

I couldn't get into to this book. I just wasn't interested in it, so I returned it.
